Wise Choice Remodeling is a licensed general contractor based in Los Angeles serving homeowners across Southern California. We handle roofing, HVAC, home insulation, window replacement, home repiping, whole home rewiring, foundation repair, tankless water heater installation, landscape and hardscape, ADU construction, room additions, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, and exterior remodeling — all under one license and one in-house team.
Our office is located at 6100 Wilshire Blvd Suite 560 Los Angeles CA 90048. We serve homeowners across Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and San Diego County.
We are open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. For urgent situations outside of business hours leave a voicemail and we will return your call the next business day.

Yes. Wise Choice Remodeling holds California Contractors State License Board license number 1104186. This license authorizes us to perform general contracting work throughout California including all services we offer. You can verify our license status at any time at cslb.ca.gov.
Yes. We carry full general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage on every project. You are never exposed on your property when our crew is working. We are happy to provide proof of insurance before any work begins.
No. Every project is handled by our experienced licensed in-house crew. We do not pass jobs to unknown subcontractors. This means tighter quality control clearer communication and a single point of accountability throughout your project.
A general contractor license issued by the California Contractors State License Board authorizes a contractor to manage and perform a broad range of construction and home improvement work. Unlike specialty licenses that cover only one trade a general contractor license covers multiple trades under one license. This means Wise Choice Remodeling can legally handle roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, foundation work, and remodeling without needing to bring in separately licensed subcontractors for each trade.

Yes. Depending on the service we handle everything from minor repairs to complete replacements and new installations. We give you an honest assessment of what your home actually needs after inspection — we do not recommend replacements when a repair will solve the problem.
Yes. Many homeowners bundle services — for example a roof replacement combined with attic insulation and HVAC installation. Bundling services with one contractor means better coordination, a single point of contact, and often a more cost effective overall project. Contact us to discuss your full project scope.

Project costs vary based on service type, scope, materials, and property specifics. We provide detailed written estimates at no charge after an in-home assessment. Here are general ranges for common projects: Roof replacement $8,000 to $40,000 depending on size and material. HVAC system replacement $5,000 to $15,000. Window replacement $300 to $1,200 per window installed. Home repiping $4,000 to $15,000 depending on home size and material. Foundation repair $3,000 to $25,000 depending on scope. These are ranges only — your written estimate will reflect your specific project.
Yes. We provide free in-home consultations and written estimates on all services. There is no charge for the estimate and no obligation to move forward after we assess your project.
Yes. We offer financing options including zero down and deferred payment plans for qualified homeowners. Financing is available for most services. Ask us about current programs when you request your estimate or visit our financing page for more details.
We accept check, bank transfer, and major credit cards. Payment schedules are outlined in your project contract before work begins. We do not require full payment upfront — payment milestones are tied to project progress.

One of our team members will contact you within one business day to schedule a free in-home consultation. During the visit we assess your project, answer your questions, and provide a detailed written estimate. There is no obligation to move forward after the estimate.
Timelines vary by service and scope. Here are general ranges: Roof repair one day. Roof replacement one to three days. HVAC installation one to two days. Window replacement one to two days per ten windows. Home repiping three to five days. Kitchen remodel three to six weeks. ADU construction four to six months. We provide a specific timeline during the estimate phase so you know exactly what to expect.
Yes. Every project starts with a detailed written contract that covers scope of work materials timeline payment schedule and warranty terms. Nothing starts until you have reviewed and signed the contract.
We communicate immediately. If we discover unexpected damage or conditions during the project we stop document what we found and contact you before proceeding. You are never charged for work you have not approved.
Yes. Site cleanup is part of every project. For roofing projects this includes magnetic nail sweeps of the surrounding area. We walk the completed work with you before we consider the job done.
Permits and Regulations
Permits and California Requirements
It depends on the scope of work. Full roof replacements, new HVAC installations, electrical panel upgrades, ADU construction, room additions, and major remodeling projects typically require permits in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California. Minor repairs and cosmetic work generally do not. At Wise Choice Remodeling we handle permit pulling as part of every qualifying project. You do not need to navigate the building department yourself.
We do. The licensed contractor pulls all required permits as part of the project. You never need to contact the building department yourself. Permit costs are included in your written estimate.
California Title 24 is the state energy code that sets minimum efficiency standards for residential construction and renovation. It affects roofing replacements which must meet cool roof standards, HVAC replacements which must meet efficiency ratings, and window replacements which must meet insulation and solar heat gain requirements. Every project we complete meets current Title 24 standards. We handle compliance as part of the installation process.
Unpermitted work can create serious problems — it may void your homeowner’s insurance coverage for related claims, create disclosure obligations when you sell your home, result in forced removal of non-compliant work, and expose you to fines from the local building department. At Wise Choice Remodeling we never skip required permits.
Yes. For permitted projects we coordinate with the relevant building department to schedule all required inspections. You do not need to manage the inspection process yourself.
